Ready for the bashing I'm about to receive, but I'm still open to the idea of him being the joker. It's not really his fault that they made his character ridiculous to begin with, with the grills and silly tats. I think he as an actor gets judged on that too much when it just simply wasn't his doing.

I also know that they cut out a lot of his scenes so they didn't really give him a chance to prove anything.

I'm not saying he was amazing by any means so try not to lose your minds, but I am saying that I'm open to giving him another chance.

So they are making Leto Joker and Joaquin Phoenix joker? Cause Phoenix joker is set to come out on 2019

That's what I got from it.

Joaquin's joker is unrelated to the DCEU and will be an origin story of some sorts I believe. From what I've read it will be more of the classic joker character than a contemporary gangster like Leto's.

I wonder if they will do it like Venom and have him more in an anti hero role... Which wouldn't make sense but I wouldn't put it passed Hollywood.

Not sure how I missed this, but did you guys completely miss the part where Blah said "Worst joker ever" when talking about Leto already? You can make assumptions all you want about random stuff, but in no logical way did he imply that a guy he already called the "worst joker" is better than some other terrible actor with a bad story.
