Well for a fresh ladder typically sorc. Blizzard skilled. farm mephi asap.
But if you plan on playing in varying ways, aka not only push to mf, and maybe casual, there will be more choices. Hampaladin with conviction/res aura support for team, can still farm decently efficient. Javazons are great dps ofcourse. Necro summoner isn't bad, esp in badly geared team, with high lower res for dps boost. In team any character can really be benificial I guess. Even a trapper will be great. Barbs in team play can also Hork for more items, but will mostly be a sitting bo golem duck. solo play forget it early ladder. If you can sport 2x eth oath pretty fast, I guess you could farm smtn like pits though, with frenzy for semi decent run speed, and use Hork so he's almost a viable MF:er compared to a sorc

Just thinking about it, I'd likely least would want to play a Druid on reset, in general. The oak is nice in team play, but BO is better if you have to choose one. DPS as wind dudu isn't 'horrible' when you are greatly geared and at 163fcr - but it isnt great either. Non-geared it's kinda shit... And ya melee doesnt work. So druids kinda does not work for solo, and isn't super important in team even in HC. I'd rather have the barb.

You listed nothing but skills that don't help your party kill faster. Bo helps in claw viper temple/durance of hate where your sorc has trouble teleporting safely and that's pretty much it
Shout/leap aren't that good

Barbs are weakest in both solo and party play

Somewhat disagree.. Battle orders op.. Be a bitch and bo/group loot and pop bodies until you can make an oath then run pits, trav, shenk, etc until you farm up a little bit better gear then speed run trav and farm the shit out of dkeys

solo barb but noone solos on ladder reset. just join baal runs and leech if you are garbage

Barb, easily.

The only non-mandatory character is an assassin or amazon, HOWEVER, it does speed up normal difficulty considerably if you have one in your team

Barb - Bo = mandatory on hardcore
Necro - Ce/amp = destruction
Sorceress - Teleport + insane DPS
Druid - Oak, very useful on hardcore
Paladin - Good DPS + Aura Support

Amazon - High boss DPS
Assassin - Run fast before teleport / Overpowered fire traps in normal

druid... i just hate the druid.

Idk how people die on druids. Easily tankiest char

For fast baal hell slain u need barb sorcstatic ama con pala


And on last place barb can start mfing dest keys just at first 6-12 hours he just need one oath
Mal at first 12 hours is cheaper then dest key
He can be full geared at first 72 hours only from key hunting i bet urs blizz soso will be still at mepho;)
It isnt so hard to run over monsters with leap howl
U just need ow an cb for boss killing and dont look at screen dmg
With warcry and 40 frw boots he can be in middle of items at baalwaves
