is it possible to play /players8 with 2 players, and how do i setup so that i can play with a friend singleplayer? havnt been playing for a long time.

If you do tcp/ip you can make it /players 8.

Open Battle.net will not work I believe.

You create a tcp/ip game and tell your friend the IP of the game & he should be able to join.

some of us have done /p8 on tcp/ip with hamachi. it is quite fun if you can coordinate each other's play time.

you can do .players 8 on open, open just isnt reliable at letting others into your game...and tcp/ip requires hamachi or something similar to play

why do i need hamachi? :o

because diablo wont show you the real ip of the game for someone else to join

guh, is it complicated to fix so that you can play tcp ip

It simulates a lan between you and someone else. Yes, both of you need it.
