Why do rankings go from
D, C, B, A, S <—- wtf? That’s way off in the alphabet
U don’t make ‘s’ in school
It should be F, D, C, B, A and end there.
its pretty weird but ive seen it pretty often in places where specific tiers are set
-some classes which give pass/fail give "s" if you are top of the class
-mercedes benz's top and most luxurious class they offer is their "s - class"
-its pretty much everywhere in videogames which give you rankings
a reasonable question could be why is there an A
+ when there is an A ranking when that designates excellent. which makes the + a little redundant... also in classes which have set guidelines such as 70-79 = C... 80-89 = B... 90-100 = A... then that means that all kids who receive anything in the A range are equal which obviously doesnt.... a kid who scores a 90 isnt the same as a kid who scores a 99 or 100... so it makes sense as to create another letter grade to delineate the student who is very exceptional with something.. itd make sense for Pass/Fail/S grading but for traditional ABCD..not sure
but LOL isn't on a traditional 70-100 scale where getting "x kills, y deaths, z asissts = B"
