me and shapiro be chillin n smoking jewish blunts

I'm a bit weirded out how it went my #1/2/3 are shapiro (73) / rubot (69) / trump (68) even though their compass shows me almost equidistant from trump and biden and a mile from shapiro. I don't believe in laissez-faire capitalism and answered accordingly, so its got some goofy algorithms to wind up with Shapiro #1 or rand paul #4

your section, libertarian left wing, has no candidates.

left wing policies necessarily require strong government involvement in everyday life via regulations, quotas, high taxes and so on. therefore, there is no such thing as "libertarian left".

Do those things necessitate government, or do they necessitate power? Government is perhaps one iteration of power, but it's not the only possible structure.

I don't necessarily see how those things you've listed either wouldn't or couldn't exist in a government-less structure.

Makes some sense. I'm a left leaning moderate for the most part. The issues I mostly feel strongly about are energy/environment.

here's mine:

not a huge fan of kasich and romney though.

and I agree with goomshill's objection about the way those questions are phrased. I had to choose one of the more specific, detailed "other stances" on over half the items.

and I also agree with the sentiment that a moderate centrist like kasich is naturally advantaged in such a quiz, since he will pick up a lot of participants who dont agree with him perfectly a lot, but have a worldview that is heavily at odds with those of the other candidates on some of the topics.

Nice

I have quite a diverse list of candidates haha. I did all the additional questions and rated each one to get that list. Originally Romney was my top choice at like 74% the first time I did it. I wouldn’t vote for quite a few on my list though.

I do not like democrats.
Capitalism is the best way to defend decency imo.

I would like capitalism to raise in Israel.
Are you sure you like democrats?
I think you should take care about decency & social intelligence instead.

eh, the questions in this poll are somewhat biased. They manage to present a skewed interpretation of some topical issues. Like "Should employers be required to pay men and women the same salary for the same job?" or "Should internet service providers be allowed to speed up access to popular websites (that pay higher rates) at the expense of slowing down access to less popular websites (that pay lower rates)?". How are people supposed to make the distinction between Gender Wage Gap myth and attempts to force diversity quotas and equal outcomes for inequal work versus just supporting the equal opportunity laws already in effect? Having to delve into custom answers isn't good. Same with presenting the FCC's net neutrality as if its a matter of throttling, when the regulations in place would preclude 'slowing down websites', only allowing premium service- while arguably a relative faster/slower relationship, these regulations still prevent anti-competitive abuses or throttling so the question is misleading.

A lot of those are inaccurate, though. I favor meritocratic decision making so I imagine that would fall directly under their description of "elitism" for example.
