Not all, but still has a huge community :) 100% of games doesn't keep all players, so that argument there was retarded. Stay mad multi, D3 is good.

It probably has one of the fastest dying rates of any online game in recent history.. only one that could top it is FFXIV which died on release but square-enix completely turned that game around to the second largest mmo atm. Blizzard has done nothing for D3. The best thing they could possibly do for it is probably set it back to vanilla.

It's playerbase dropped by 65% within a year of it's launch and for a while the xbox/ps was the strong majority of it's playerbase. I'd really like to see the #'s of active players for D3 on PC. I'd almost guarantee it's less than d2 , an almost 20 year old game.

Go to their website and find out, the game remains active and leaderboard competitions remain challenging and fun. Your statistics are wrong.

Bots play d2, people use d2 to play jsp. Tradespawns mainly what's left of active d2 community and the 8 circle jerking toxic fpkers. Not sure Melee scene seems active tho, but many have quit. There's actually more people that play d3, but yes many players moved on from d3 because of the state it was released. They didn't want a new game, they wanted Diablo 2 remastered

D2 is dead as well. Not arguing that but D3 , outside of the first few weeks of a season reset, is dead. I bet D2 has just as many active players as D3 does on PC and that's sad with it being a nearly 20 year old game. Some people can't accept the fact blizzard released a steaming pile of shit. People didn't want a D2 remastered, people wanted a game that felt like diablo and had some form of a trading and social economy(not to mention pvp, the sole reason d2 stayed alive for over a decade, which was promised to us would be in D3 on release). Ofc d3 being dead doesn't really matter with it being a singleplayer game and always has been. There is no need and never has been for a party system on D3 and the social aspect of the game is trash.

It has a party system lol. You don't know everything about D3 and the term dead does not categorise D2 or D3.

I never said D3 didn't have a party system. I said there has never been a need for a party system (vanilla D3 being the only thing close). The 4 player limit on games is trash and the experience of the game would be no different playing it single player vs playing it online. The community/social aspect is complete garbage and 90% of the D2 playerbase would agree that is what made D2 so special. We don't even need to touch the lack of a trading system or pvp system.

As I said if you enjoy it, keep playing it. It doesn't change the fact that it was a let down and a failure for the Diablo series.

That is your opinion, and this discussion will always remain opinion related. The game is still active and beautiful in its own way.
