Once I find a descent rune in LK I will. Tough sledding so far.


Max block is difficult to viably achieve on a sorc without BiS gear (Stormshield, ‘Enigma’, ‘HotO’, etc). Plus, I prefer a vita build.

It's not that difficult to attain a decent amount of block without sacrificing much HP imo. Easy to find end game items with +dex mods and decent shield. No block in HC P8 seems unwise.

RIP without block recovery

It’s not just lost HP; it’s lost resists, Fcr, mana, +skills (=damage). Even with a great MB shield like SS, you still have to sink a lot of dexterity to achieve 75% block. If you have a ranged skill (FB, FO, Blizz, Lightning, etc), you should be able to play with enough tactic to not need MB.


I defer to LiiMule, who has a HC vita lvl 99 soso.

Interesting. But why do you assume I mean max block? 40% block is better than 10% without sacrificing much. I guess it comes down to play style though.

Actually I don't think it's better. You'll get into block recovery more often. 40% chance to stand still for 6 frames isn't an upgrade imo.
