Ok i am not sure if there is a setting or if it even exists for this site but i would like to get a pm from another user and not have to refresh my page to get the pm. Is there a way to get the pm with out having to refresh the page?

You can use the Push notification settings

Even with push notifications, he still has to refresh the page to get to that pm.

Right click pm box icon or the notification and open in a new tab.

Why not take the 0.01 second to refresh the page?

I don't think there is a function for this to be honest. And even of their was one I don't see why it would be of any use. You still have to go to your pm box to get to the pm to even read/respond to it. To me it would be a wasted feature.

Turn on push notifications if the concern is that you want to make sure you're seeing the pm as soon as it's sent. This sounds like what you're really asking for, vs literally not being able to hit a single key on your keyboard.
