hello jsp,

i started to get into overclock.

before any explanations here is my setup:

x4 950 AM4
gtx 1050
intel 240gb ssd
gigabyte ab350m
2x4 gb 2400mhz
pure rock slim
matx case

So, i have gotten into the bios, set turbo stuff off and manually increased the multiplier from 35 to 38 and started running prime95.
CPUID or CPUZ shows the clock stuck at 3.5ghz but the oc should bring it up to 3.8. Though, on windows system it shows 3.8. Therefore CPUZ shows the multiplier at 14-38 but still 3.5ghz

I think i'm forgetting something very stupid but can't find what ...

Should be straightforward.

Multiplier x BCLK, which should be 200mhz. So your multiplier should be 19.0

Nothing else needs to change. Make sure all the other power savings are off as well.

Afterburner for gtx 1050. Just keep in mind this may increase noise


Just set the power and temp to max, and set the fan curve to aggressive. (Don't worry your card wont actually hit 92'C it's just so the card thinks there is lots of headroom and keeps it's max clock going)

+50mhz on core clock +150 on memory should be fine, if you have any artifact or driver crashes memory drop the OC to +30/ +100

Oh that's right it's 100mhz

Turn everything else off. Boost ratio, SMT ect
