The internet I have is usually pretty reliable, however this evening it has seemed slower than normal.
Can windy weather effect wifi? Tried to google but was getting mixed results.
Thanks.

This. Typically "slow downs" are related to high traffic at certain times.

It really depends on your ISP and several other variables. As other people stated, heavy traffic from other users can affect your internet speeds.

To actually answer the question yes its plausible.
ISP's can have power issues related to storms (wind/rain/snow etc).
Cables and wiring can very well be damaged during high winds causing them issues.

thanks for all the responses,
seems better this evening.
still pretty windy.
I live in a pretty lowly populated area, but my brother and i pay a little more for "better" internet. Usually i can be on my computer, he is on his, gf can be on netflix and everything runs just fine.
Thanks for the responses.
