havent played on bnet hardcore in years but want to join in for ladder. i remember insta-deaths from tppk, town pk and other stupid hacks that you had absolutely no chance of surviving unless you recognized the pker's name when he joined and made it to town or left the game before being hostiled. otherwise if you are in the middle of some random zone and got hostiled you're dead instantly.
curious if this bs got patched or fixed over the years or if those shitty hacks are still out there making public play pretty pointless??
