I watched the whole first season and didn't think it was that great. It was entertaining for ahwile, but it got super repetitive and boring to me. Same jokes, same action, same stupid fucking Ash. That kinda bothers me. Ash was a jock ladies man or whatever in the movies, but he was also smart enough to make his mechanical arm, and all sorts of shit to fight the dead in medieval times, which would be pretty difficult to do if you weren't fairly intelligent. Just weird they make him actually retarded.
