Is adobe good in general, anybody here use it?

I awnt to edit videos and design some stuff, photoshop and make sites etc.

what is your software preference?

videos: sony vegas simple & smooth

Websites, dream weaver is a good start if you want to learn the basics or just publish some articles / simple webpages

My guess would be that it takes at least 5 years to become a good programmer

Fireworks is best for quality vector pictures (loggos and stuff), photoshop is good for photographs and general photo editing
