If right wingers were consistent it only matters that it was conceived here.

I think if America was smart, we'd clarify the law to specifically operate under a policy of Jus sanguinis, but as it is, the Supreme Court has ruled we operate under Jus soli, so whether anyone agrees with that or not, that's the reality of the situation.
