Hey so I haven't turned the heat on in the house yet and my GPU is running at 25c idle and my CPU is at 16c. Are there any negative effects from hardware being this cold?

Probably fx or phenom, their sensors show strange incorrect readings when at idle temps

my 965 Black Edition ran at 230 celsius idle

if you weren't born in 2017 you'd remember phenom II was far from shit, it was the price/perf king for ~200$-250$

i7-920 was unreasonably more expensive and not much better

sounds like a personal problem

wrong, also fx series vs sandy bridge sir? sandy bridge's performance is insane.

hell, i just upgraded from a fx 6300 to an i7 2600 and it's been insanely noticeable, especially in game development

not doing AMD ever again, that i can tell you

yeah you just upgraded to sandy bridge after using it for the last 6 years your stories never match up. 'game development' indeed
I'm referring to Deneb vs Nehalem not Sandy Bridge vs Disasterdozer try to keep up friend
but FX was still more perf/$ than intel even at the time despite being slower, especially in multi threaded workloads. So even if I was referring to FX (i wasn't) i would not be wrong.
