Long time GW2 player here.

I am thinking of purchasing GW1 just to unlock some Hall of Monuments around 6

Is there an easy fast class to do this and how long will this take?

Which achievements are the fastest/easiest way to unlock Hall of Monuments.

Any suggestions are welcome.

You're not wrong.

Easiest achievements are those that don't require titles in my opinion, you can buy most of the services or weapons/off hands for HoM (hall of monuments) points. such as conquerer of deep/urgoz/fissure/underworld/domain of anguish/tormented items/destroyer items etc, but all of those require some depth into the game. It's a really rich game in terms of storyline, don't rush it.

The easiest HoM points to get are the ones you can buy (that don't require any certain amount of progression)

Things like dedicating mini pets, and dedicating destroyer and tormented weapons.

There are also a couple max titles that are easy to get if you can afford them (drunk title, party title, and sweets title)

Truth be told, GW1 is an INCREDIBLE game. worth every second that you put into it. Since the population is low, I suggest reading some guides on npc heroes and how to unlock them. Being able to run with a team of heroes (and a good team comp) will make everything basically a very enjoyable faceroll
