late to checking in on this again, but all interesting stuff thanks everyone. definitely sad I can't make this viable but oh well!

But golem could do quadruple dmg which is probably the only thing going for them due to deadly/critical stacking on monsters

Say with that pike (Socketed with LoLo instead of 40/15+Lo) for 40% DS he lands a 3425 max dmg noncrit, which rolls into a 6850 deadly and then monster 5% critical strike for 13700 dmg without auras. Goodluck on the pike tho

I have used Iron golems in pvp as infinity/beast/various lower end tier weapons like windhammer and ik mauls with chanted skeletons with mixed results. While infy golems are fun and guaranteed to fail cheaters you pretty much lose a golem every 2nd game and its no fun when infinities go for 45-50 fg a pop and you watch as your retarded golem(even if buffed with oak and barb bo) literally beelines for a braindead paladin's hammerfield and just falls over in 2 hammers or other rand spam projectiles which suddenly all seem to become golemheatseeking
