Since July 1st McGregor and Mayweather have been tested 13 times lol

it's very easy when they're both in las vegas and they only need to travel to LA(test samples)

Curious question, but with the amount of money on the line, if one of them did test positive would they cancel the fight?

The NSAC will allow McGregors 0-0 to face 49-0 Mayweather, they will even allow 8oz gloves which are not regulation at their weight - but they definitely couldn't ignore an anti doping violation.

They could just pretend the results weren't available until after the fight though.

I assume the lawsuits of hiding a drug test would ruin the industry

The situation seems weird to me - he got popped the day of weigh ins, and we just find out about it yesterday?


Seems like if your goal is to prevent cheaters from fighting, you should have the results of each test BEFORE the fight, and not weeks after.

Somehow I doubt it's because they are unable to get the results fast enough.

Iirc when he failed the first test @ Ufc 200 part of the reason for their explanation for the timing of the results was also anonymity. The sample gets taken and it goes to the back of the line with the other new samples and the testers don't know who they're testing. It's just another sample in the line.
