Python is ok for starters, but in the future you would want to learn something else for example java, c, c++, c#

Look at companies you would like to work at, and find out which programming languages they use, then start learning those.

If you are only doing it as a hobby then you should find a language you like and don't care about trends.

Java is the most used language right now
Most programmers dont like it tho, cos its suboptimal regarding performance

yeah, it is slow, like python, because they are based on other languages. We all know that. Anyway: We will see, whats going on in the future. THe Quantum Computers will change alot things.
