Used or refurished would be the best bet.

Typing on my phone but I own an ok desktop that can run this on min other then the fact that I don't want win10 on it

I own a ps4 and a arcade pad that works on PC/ps4 but not Xbox without an 60$ adapter or buying the pad for Xbox for 150$ so I thought if possible save my money since I will only be playing one Xbox game lol which is killer instinct if anyone is curious and if it can run ki then it can run my steam games also I'm sure

did it actually brick or were you able to salvage the system? this should be well above spec for any os

my win7 has been sufficiently trimmed and tuned that i see no difference whatsoever between my benchmarks and performance metrics vs others with the same specs but using windows 10. Mine end up within margin of error higher or lower at about the same rate.

there's also the fact that you're comparing a new vs older os installation you would have seen similar gains if you had just fresh installed the os you were currently using.

I guess I can consider upgrading my win7 but still interested in laptop options if anyone has any?
