Not too bad of a BO helm for a level 30. I know there are better, but still.

Unique.. just trying to build my runes/gold back up. Was manald.

So I ended up building my gold back up to 360k. GAMBLE TIME. Bought numerous amounts of axes.. none of which were Nagas..

I did some research to find the odds of gambling an exceptional base. This is for anyone who doesn't understand the gambling odds.

Arreat says "The level of quality of the items will be from most common to, most rare: Normal, Exceptional, Elite. The chance for the other types of items is:

Exceptional: pV = max{0%, (ilvl - qlvlV) * 0.9 + 1%}
Elite: pE = max{0%, (ilvl - qlvlE) * 0.33 + 1%}

pE/pV = probability
ilvl = clvl (-5 to +4)
qlvl = quality-lvl of base item to be generated (i.e. 33 for Demonhide gloves)"

So I did some number crunching. I'm level 55.

Probability is: max{0%, ({50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59} - 48} * 0.9 + 1%} = {0%, 2.8%, 3.7%, 4.6% 5.5%, 6.4%, 7.3%, 8.2%, 9.1%, 10.0%, 10.9%} = 65.8 / 10 = 6.85% chance to gamble a Naga.

At level 65, my calculated odds are 15.85% Not that much better xD

Walking through Cold Plains to replenish my wasted gold from gambling (I swear I'm not an addict ) and found a 4os Halberd. Insight, even though I don't need mana, merc needed dmg upgrade.

Continuing to replenish gold + find runes for crafting. Bladebuckle. Mine grants +43 life nty

After 30 minutes more of gambling, got a Naga! Better than previous. Axe Craft #6 (7th craft total)

Spirit > Ancients in every way except fire resists, which you can make up on any piece of gear.

Yeah, the only thing is I'd lose 54 FR, which would drop me down to 15 total. I guess I can just stash it and use it vs D if I don't find a higher base def/res?
