I took the DAT (dental admissions test). Best way to prep is literally lock yourself in a room for a couple months and study the shit out of those big mcat/gre books. (I got an offer from Case Western Reserve University for 2018)

I'm taking what is equivalent to MCAT tomorrow, for Belgium. I studied 12h/day for 6 weeks and gave my spare time to sports and proper rest.

Hit the books at least 6 hours a day with rests every hour
