No sorry you're wrong. Botting is almost necessary. Without botting I never would have come back to this game.

On your own legit playing part time it would literally take years to self find an end game char. Even with the odd find and sell to jsp it would take way too long for a part timer.

Botting allowed me to make enough fg while spending time at work and fulfilling my family and relationship obligations to build the exact few chars I wanted each ladder.

To me, that is a lot more fun than blindly running through nightmare for 2 years only to be too glass in hell.

Its just the mass dupers and market crashers that ruin it.

Botting allows a market that nearly everyone can participate in. With no bots there is no supply. Casual players will never afford 1.5k fg for a shako...

in hardcore, my buddy and i would make it to hell mode in ~2-3 days with relationships and full time work, no sweat. if it takes you 2 years to reach hell mode, you aren't doing it right. as far as finding an end game char, maybe a month with self found depending on the char. not perfect stat gear, but high end end game gear.

as for the spammbots: a lot of cd keys got banned. Some useres reported they lost thousands of keys. Public runs are too dangerous. A lot of trolls snitch on the official forums and blizzard indeed checks waht's going on

As of MF Bots like E*** and K**. Both are still working fine. Version Hack has not been fixed and my slaves have not been banned yet. Maybe flagged, we will see

2-3 days of straight gaming yes. However I can only bring myself to play 30min - 1 hour at a time. After 17 years 1-60 repetively doing the same runs over and over again has literally zero appeal.

Might be fun for you.. I'd rather bot it and make interesting builds for fun.
