This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

But is CNN selling ad space? If the answer is yes than what they are doing is moral in the capitalist ethos.

OP sounds like a butt fucking socialist.

So let's set aside the fact that this is another deceptively edited video by o'keefe who has been debunked on every story he reports on, who also happens to have financial ties to the trump administration and let's look at actual fake news.

Fox is claiming that 5.7 million illegal immigrants voted in 2008. It's' based on extrapolation of a controversial study that relied on a very small number of online responses.
From a report by the washington times (which is an actual fake news propaganda site that was founded by a cult leader and is meant to confuse people with wapo)
It's all based on conclusions drawn by a conservative/libertarian think tank led by James D. Agresti(they're also climate change deniers), who drew his conclusions using an old paper from Old Dominion University researchers.
Their data came from the cooperative congressional election study, who have long since come out to dispute the conclusions drawn by old dominion and even warned people not to draw conclusions based on their data in the first place.

Basically they drew a conclusion from an online survey, which used an inaccurate number from a small sample size based on likely erroneous self-reporting - extrapolated it to the entire population, then multiplied it to come up with the 5.7 million number.
This has been long since thoroughly dismantled and debunked, but it's still being parroted by fox. So where are the pitch forks? where are the resignations, oh right, it's fox. Just business as usual. Can't expect you to be consistent.

It's absolutely hilarious that Sarah Huckabee Sanders went on and on about fake news and turns around and promotes this o'keefe nonsense.

"There's a video circulating now — whether it's accurate or not, I don't know — but I would encourage everyone in this room and, frankly, everybody across the country to take a look at it. I think if it is accurate, I think it's a disgrace to all of media, to all of journalism."

And here's some more fake news from trump on the same subject just for good measure.

edit: what's that, people don't actually address the subject? oh em gee, who would've thunk it.

I've got no strings to hold me down
To make me fret, or make me frown
I had strings, but now I'm free
There are no strings on me!

Come on dance little puppets, dance!

If you want to talk about checking the credibility of news organizations, don't link to politi"""fact"""
They're kind of a living example of Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? in action
