I wonder why any of these people bother posting here. They obviously don't care to actually discuss movies or television and anything other than generic movie reviews (it was good, it was bad etc.) seem to be met with hostility or false attacks on my personality that are in no way relevant to the conversation.

It's rather unfortunate as this sub was one of my favorite places,l on JSP. That was back when people actually liked talking about movies and shows and they didn't just insult people with different opinions and they didn't automatically assume anyone who took the time to write an articulate response was mad.

Oh well. Inb4 calm down idiot, you're a moron. Blah blah.

5.3 on IMDB. I didn't know it was possible to get below a 7 on their kiddy rating system.

It's down to 15% now on RT, 17% with Top Critics. However, the top critic ratings all seem fake as shit. The ones that are positive are calling this movie a masterpiece.... which is a pretty blatant sign that these fools have been bought. Fucking sad.

I actually paid $7 to see this today... went in expecting it to be terrible, and it pretty much was, but I must admit that I was thoroughly entertained throughout the film.

Mark Wahlberg's character, man... Dude should have died ten thousand+ brutal deaths but always walked away completely unscathed. It's like his character was extracted from a ridiculous 80s action movie. :rofl:

Which it will, because Bay's movies always manage to.

You watch Epic Rap Battles of History? My favorite one by far is Spielberg vs Alfred Hitchcock. Everyone in that one is fucking amazing, Kubrik, Tarantino and then Bay comes in and steals the fucking show at the end.

yea my bad, i'm not dismissing the significance of film reviews or people that do them - just meant that this movie can be totally slated, and still gross millions and millions, meaning that more movies are inevitable.
