My data is first hand with the 50+ people who I've helped walk through building and overclocking with Ryzen via r/buildapc and the BuildAPC Discord Server over the last 2 months. What's yours?

Some people have better luck than others, but it averages between 3.7 and 3.8. It seems to depend a lot on the mobo for Ryzen. People have had a lot of luck with MSI and ASRock B350s. BIOS overclocking has given some people issues so they usually end up using Ryzen Master to do it.

I remember you, baddy. From like 5 years ago. 1050, ryzen 6 and an msi mobo perhaps? Prob just gonna rock a 250gb ssd.

I mean if I need to oc and its bottleneck is a stock cooler, I don't lose any money using the stock and upgrading to aftermarket if necessary afterwards. Let's not lose our cool over the coolers.

As for my 144hz 100fps regard, I used to run 144hz with like 400fps, but I figured that was overkill. Unless the refresh rate directly impacts fps needed to look smooth and that's why you're calling me stupid, you could have mentioned so instead of trolling with useless input.
