i watched some summer league and i remember him not being able to shoot but having good court vision...plus all the bullshit DM posted last year

but idr anything specific abt his defense

i'm not saying he won't be what you'll say...but i feel like you're under hyping him a lot

We need shooters, and I think we already got a few on the team. You go Nik [Stauskas], Rob [Covington], and T.J. [McConnell]. I think T.J. is going to be a great shooter next year, he already told me he’s going to get me at least three assists next year, so hopefully I’ll average a triple-double next year.

Dude has yet to play 2 games in 2 nights, but has his mind set on triple doubles

Embiid is going to be a fucking GOAT

He was also raw. Only played two years of basketball before that freshman season and not to mention he took a two year break from playing from injuries. But it was a nice pleasant surprise.

I mean hope Simmons become a stud but some things bothered me when I watched him play. Simmons definitely has talent and can be a star in this league if all variables pan out. A lot of it is on him though. He has to actually care about defense and put in work. And I really do wonder how his shot is going to develop/change.

He's not going to be playing the 1 whole time. Definitely not after we draft Fultz. They will share ball handling duties which can be good because they will be less prone to turnovers and fatigue.

He will be a point forward. He's not going to play the 1. They will probably share ball handling duties. Even in SL, Simmons didn't handle ball 100% of the time

Didn't watch too much tape on him but I would say it'd be tough to say he can guard 4s until you watch him play. As I've said in previous threads, the difference between strength/speed from college players to NBA players is a large one. You think he has the size to match up against lets say an Al Horford or Serge Ibaka?
