If pacers trade Paul George, they'd likely be on a rebuild. No sense in taking a player at that contract. They probably want nice draft picks and young players.

But they still need to spend some money. Isn't the pacers payroll already pretty low? If you have 1 contract like that that's only got a couple years left and you're rebuilding it's not that bad. I don't know their payroll though. They could be paying some guys a lot of money elsewhere. But you're right about picks. Cavs have 0 of value really.

Interesting. It dawned on me while flipping burgers at MacDonalds today that Ballgame to the Blazers would form a really fucking good team. They were already top 10 (according to the official undisputed d2jsp basketball subreddit power rankings). Adding Balllgame would probably put them in the top 4, at least. He wouldn't even have to take last second shots, which he sucks at, because they have Lillard. 🤔🤔
