As I said "that crap" - to me it doesn't mean shit...
obviously the boys played their hearts out in order to maybe make it into the first squad
Then again I think we (as Germany) showed how much we care by sending our 5th squad

your second/third squad. Relax Andy

nice one. our win obviously doesn't change the fact that this is a completely irrelevant cup / title, but considering we sent our 2nd / 3rd squad, it's still better to win than to lose - not that i would have cared too much either way.

chile was the better team overall tonight, there's no denying this. however, in terms of real scoring opportunities i feel like we created at least as many as they did (didn't count though).
also, considering how seriously they took this, and how scummy they behaved in the 2nd half ( kimmich vs. half their team and especially jara vs. werner, which obviously was a clear red card) i can't say i feel sorry for them, which i did after the first half...

he not only stood his ground, he kept his calm - which is very nice to see and an impressive display of maturity and composure given how ridiculous they behaved and how badly the ref evaluated this. shades of völler vs. rijkaard, although obviously not quite as outrageous...
there is no denying i was wrong about kimmich as a player altogether, he developed very nicely - not just in terms of pure skill, but also regarding his character (leadership and already being a role model despite his still tender age)...
