The only countries in the western hemisphere with a good trained armed forces are the USA and Canada. The rest of the hemisphere is crap when it comes to armed forces.
By the way, the reason why almost nobody in the USA knows nothing about Venezuela, its drug lords and its connections with
Hezbollah* and Iran (and Russia by default), etc, is because Chavez did a very good job paying lobbies in the USA with his petrodollars to keep the american people blinded from the truth about Venezuela. The few americans who knew something about Venezuela, thought Chavez was "the champion of the poor". Hollywood and many college professors in the american universities brainwashed many americans with this fallacy and propaganda. While they were portraying Chavez and his socialist revolution as something good for the poor people, he was destroying Venezuela and turning this country into what it is now. This happened because these lobbies did their job using their influence on american politicians, american media, american college professors and american entertaining famous personalities (hollywood people like Oliver Stone, dumbasses like Michael Moore, mediocre actors like Sean Penn and Danny Glover, etc) to this purpose. This is the reason most americans know almost nothing about Venezuela and had no idea about this country being ruled by these drug lords that distribute around 50% of the drug that is introduced into the USA and has allowed Iranian-allied groups such as Hezbollah to have training bases here and penetrate this hemisphere.
*Hezbollah and its Iranian allies has training bases here in Venezuela, which unfortunately has become a breachhead for them to penetrate this hemisphere. They managed to do this through Tarek El-Aissami, Venezuelan Vice President and drug lord, right hand of Diosdado Cabello. El-Aissami is son of a Syrian immigrant who was member of the Ba'athist Party, his uncle was also member of that party. Remember this party (which was considered an "Arab Socialist" party) had power in both Iraq and Syria. Im aware the Ba'athist Party is secular and "neo socialist". Also aware that the Iraqi Ba'athist Party fought a war against Iran in the 80s. The point is that today the Ba'athist Party doesnt exist anymore and Tarek El-Aissami was inspired by his father (former Ba'athist party member). Using his family connections in Syria, Tarek El Aissami, made connections with Hezbollah in the early 2000s, and he has allowed Hezbollah (ally of Syria and Iran) to penetrate Venezuela and use it to consolidate his power in this country. He is a drug lord who uses these Hezbollah members to consolidate his strength in Venezuela. A very bad combination. Hence the reason why the CIA, Trump and the Pentagon have their eyes on this country now.
How did this happen?, Chavez' petrodollars paid lobbies to keep the american and the international community blind from what was happening here. While at the same time, Bush and Obama were giving a shit on what was happening under their noses here. So here we are now. This is the reason why we have some users posting that they dont give a shit about this 3rd world country, because they have no idea that what is going on here is harmful to the whole hemisphere. I know we Venezuelans are the ones to blame for this mess, but this shit got out of control and international forces are now in play here, and the only way to stop this is with international help/force.
