Capitalism there failed before socialism took root there in the 1990s. Capitalism isn't a good alternative to socialism.

Obviously a mix is good, like European states and the US.

the problem with communism is there are a lack of incentives and the problem with capitalism is it promotes inherent inequality. the next natural step other than a mix of the two is a post capitalist society with not for profit enterprises producing goods at no marginal cost. the labour theory of value will be a relic of the past for the vast majority of goods, work will be voluntary and the attention will be diverted from capital and labour to energy and resources.

The need for incentives naturally decreases as goods and services become available at a lower marginal cost, resources won't be as sparse.

In the middle of the following picture is Tarek El Aissami, right hand of Diosdado Cabello, leader of the Narcosoles Drug Cartel who runs Venezuela. Tarek is wanted by the DEA for drug trafficking:

This guy together with Diosdado Cabello are now in control of Venezuela and in control of Maduro.

No. He was the one who created this mess. This is just the end result of his creation. This repressive apparatus and all the drug lords in the military and in the government started under his "leadership". He was well aware of all the drug trafficking around him. He allowed it to happen as long as they stayed loyal to him. This chaos and mess was going to happen even with him alive.

Post capitalism is a bullshit fantasy. Without restraining feedback enforced by suffering, growth becomes widespread, increasingly unadept, and eventually cancerous.

Capitalism forces people to help others survive in exchange for income while amptutating unsustainable and undesirable growths.

Colectivo hordes attacking a lonely girl:

https://twitter.com/ElZulia/status/882661171878342659

A Very common occurrence nowadays when the colectivos start "patrolling" the streets around the important cities in Venezuela. I would say she got lucky she didnt get shot down like they tend to do in cases like this.

Thanks Hugo Chavez.

Im so happy this mother fucker suffered a lot on his last days.
