i mean my plan was to change jobs at 30 lol. im now 31, although kids are coming later than expected

tym9. yea its not absolutely horrible where im starting to hate my life etc, i would just quit with nothing lined up if that were the case. i am getting to the point of hating what im doing and dreading going into work everyday

Been thinking about this myself quite a bit as well.

Tough to find balance.

If the job is getting to the point where it is causing you harm it is time to leave. Stress kills people.

We only get one life. Better to live the best you can so you can bring more utility to those you care about.

It's just tough to leave a job where you have seniority, better chance of getting the vacation time you want, benefits etc etc.

Been fighting with the CRA for some time now.

Fingers crossed that battle is over. Looks like I am getting back 5k.

The money is great, but in all honesty defeating the CRA means a lot more to me.

Really hope this sticks.

They're a joke, told my wife that she owes them 2k for the covid Cerb thing. Except they actually paid her less and they owe her 500 :rofl:
