More than 150 vaccines are in development worldwide and 10 of those vaccine candidates are now in Phase 3 clinical trials, meaning they are being trialled on hundreds of volunteers to make sure they are safe.

Dr. Bonnie Henry says this could mean a vaccine may be available for some people in the province as soon as January.

Who will get priority? Likely candidates, said Henry, will be health-care workers, seniors, people with underlying illnesses and those who live in close quarters with others, where the virus is quick to spread.

All those conspiracy morons who think a vaccine will track them have a smart phone, and a goddamn Alexa in every room of their house. I still think social media is inherently evil, I don’t have a shred of it. Their algorithms are so good at manipulating people who don’t have the ability to think critically, which unfortunately has proven to be most people. Gimme that vaccine.

What kind of side effects scare you ? It's not like the vaccins can give you cancer or alzheimers. Vaccines are already safe.
