i dont quite know how lrt funding works, but downtown toronto is a similar situation here where its delayed and theres a lot of extra costs, from what ive heard. but what youre describing sounds like the contractors issue not the municpality, not sure why the city would have to pay to fuel something they never wanted. would be different if they specd out these transformers, they were installed correctly but dont work as intended, then the city would be fucked



all depends which side i guess. in my case, if the city is paying more to the contractor, we win big time. everything is bid with such little markup that a small issue can completely fuck up the job. a lot of coin comes in through change orders

Lrt in Ottawa got fucked too. Dumbass city council went with the cheapest bid even though the contractor didn't meet the technical requirements for the job. Now there's a breakdown somewhere every other day. Cutting corners always more expensive in the long run.

Last month I was getting a few a day for a while. But haven't gotten anything lately. Pretty annoying it's always a new number and i am also wanted by the police apparently.

I have been today, 2x Alberta numbers and a call from Romania.

I've read the more you answer these calls, the more likely you are to get called back alot. Just stop answering unless you know who it is, if it's important, they'll leave a message.
