A tablet might be a good call.
i bought a amazon fire hd 10, installed google play store on it and its been great. screens good size for watching video, battery lasts a decent amount of time, and it runs pretty quick the fire os via android is kinda meh, but its not that bad. i bet you could jailbreak the thing and install regular android os on it if you wanted to spend the time
i paid 150 bucks for mine, they were on sale for black friday/cyber monday for 100, but they are back to 150, and i think thats still a killer price
