allowing your child to fail is a good thing. Help them succeed. Try and give them the opportunity to follow their dreams.
Don't be stupid and let them do w.e, no job, drop-out of school, etc.
I'm just saying let your kids attempt to follow a dream. Don't hold them back.
If your kid wants to try and be in the Olympics, let him try, and if he falls, be there to pick him up and move forward.
You only live for so long dude. Live it.
Let your kids choose, they will fail or fall, or possibly both, or surprise you and succeed in a field in which you never though they could/would.
Quite different actually.
From what I am reading and understanding, you want your kids to just go to college and work their heart out. Yea that is a good choice, but if they have an opportunity, don't hold them back. All you do is force failure upon them or force them to join the minority.
Just remember for when they fail, be THERE waiting and ready to catch them.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say now.
TL;DR
Let them try, be ready to catch them if they fail/fall and encourage them in the future.
A don't be stupid and allow them to ditch school/dropout
Refer to my post 20789, ur literally saying the same shit.
