Completely different situation. We dont share a border with anyone besides the US and therefore do not have the same illegal immigration issue as them. I think the law is a step in the right direction, the last thing we want is illegal immigrants who are unfairly treated or exploited because going to police would mean they are deported.

I just don’t get it. You want to protect “ILLEGAL” immigrants. Like wtf?!

Maybeeeeeee, they shouldn't be illegal in the first place then? I know exceptions apply but then they tackle the exceptions on a case-by-case basis anyways.
