I'm writing this just as a public service, and maybe I knew about this 10 years ago but I've since forgot and it was a very expensive lesson... If you're planning on being totally physical and still torn between using a WF with a A1 faith merc vs a Faith with an act 2 Pride Might merc, know this... the "hit blinds target" from the pride merc's polearm negates your atma's scarab amp damage to break phys immunes.... Assuming both would reach the same breakpoint :

Windforce setup : Fortitude, Raven, Leech ring, 30 frw tiara, LoH, War traveler, Razortail, Atma (debatable, but your choice here).
4 free sockets for 4 x 15ias/40ed jewels, for a grand total of 100ias (92 required for Multishot with level 15 fanatism).
At char level 90, Windforce+boots+belt show 54-581 base damage, 317.5 average.
Add, let's say, 5 grand charms with 10max, and the base raises to 342.5 average.
%ed is 144 (fanatism), 420 (items), 350 on demons, around 300 (dexterity), 125 (strafe).
Finally :
- multishot 3644 / 4843 (vs demons)
- strafe 4072 / 5271
(not counting the 3/4 malus, but not relevant for a comparison).

Faith GMB setup : 60-160 body armor, 2 skills 15ias frw circlet, and same as above.
Base damage is (62-320)+(15-25)+(0-10)+(0-50) = 77-395, 236 average.
%ed is 288 (fanatism), 200 (items), 350 on demons, 75 on undead, around 330 (dext), 160 (strafe), 270 (might), 345 (concentration).
Finally :
- multishot 3618 / 4444 (vs demons)
- strafe 3995 / 4821 (vs demons)

Windforce wins but notice a few things :
- higher + skills with Faith setup, and maybe +1 or 2% of critical strike (not counted above).
- higher damage with Windforce as your char level increases
- adding more 10 max grand charms will be more profitable with Faith setup
- Faith (as calculated above) requires more expensive items (perfect Faith, 2 more 15/40 jewels).
- you could as well imagine 3 sockets 30 frw tiara on Faith setup, with 1 ias jewel and 2 x 40ed-9dext, resulting in more damage but less skills

Hum. Seems I forgot the belt bonus in the calculation.

Damn, I'm exposed.

+65 ias required with Shadow bow, LoH + 45ias tiara then, and Fortitude.
(81-347) : 214 average base damage.

multishot %ed = 288 + 420 + 353 (85 strength only is now required for the boots) + 270 + 345 = +1676%

214 x 17.76 = 3801
Faith shadow bow takes the lead...

But now let's see with 160/60 Faith GMB and 15ias/80ed/18dext tiara :
241 base, 288+298+330+270+345 = +1531%
-> 3931 for multishot (regular target)

Results are very close anyway, needs precise infos (exact level, exact inventory, exact stats on leech ring [possible damage +min or +max] and circlet).
