This is the same bullshit Jon Stewart did for years
>spew bullshit to a bunch of teenagers
>teenagers believe the bullshit
>real people mad about Jon Stewart
>Jon Stewart claims “Im just a clown”
CNN is also a clown if you have any doubt

Far too many people took JS too serious for too long, but you have to give him props for leaving the show to pursue justice for 9-11 first respondents. For all of his influence while he was on comedy central he is getting shit done without it. I won't be shocked when he pulls a Franken, runs and wins.

as he started off being a direct parody of a right wing show he has always been too partisan for me to take seriously in any sense. Moving over to late night he's got a more "serious" platform, but if anything should be taken less seriously. Since he's dropped the Papabear O'Reilly act he's basically just a populist riding a wave. I think a lot on the left championing his statements would forget he exists inside of a month.

on the subject, i dont like Trevor Noah all that much but his angle of immigrant's take on the US is at least a new angle. they could have just put in a poor man's version of Jon Stewart. I just wish he hit harder on the left, but as the right has all of the power atm i get it.

Honestly, I would like you to create a book one day / or pdf. I'd buy it. I love reading your views on stuff (mostly bcz i agree with 90% of it, but besides the point)

He was kind of thrust into seriousness because main stream media outlets like Fox took him seripusly. He was a comedian that was suddenly more credible than the cable news outlets because of how far they had/have let themselves fall

thats one way to put it. the other way is that his audience grew so much that they had to pay attention to him. No one takes PewDiePie seriously based on his content, but he has undeniable influence over an entire generation.
