Ordinarily the TD will add 2-5 levels from what Ive been told. I think youre too hung up on TDs though. I generally skip them as they increase the time it takes to MQ drastically and I dont see the benefit to them in the current version. The difficulty vs reward of TDs doesnt match up imo. Id rather just remake and continue than take extra time to kill mobs and have increased risk when the drops are just as shitty as normal.
Also if youre having issue with EPs maybe consider buying good fish from Dante... I use fish with 1.1k per use in conjunction with my 168ee lvl 55 heal. Between the two I have no fear of EPs 1-71 and up to 2 TDs down soloing.
If you cant handle EPs inside of a TD then you shouldnt be in the TD
