Addison will be gone 300% he never plays for the cubs again. Machado wants to play SS, so Baez goes to second again. Even if Machado plays 3rd.... Bryant is probably better in left field. So that’s settled.

Pretty easy switch. How is Harper better than Machado? Are you high as fuck? Harper is exactly opposite of what the Cubs need ... another home run reliant hitter

yes a 280 hitter with top 5 power in the league is just some home run reliant hitter. like is aid ur fuking homering their value based off 1 season.

not until our ownership bucks up, i agree.

i give zero chance machado would come to st louis, but i think harper could be swayed if offered the right deal.

unfortunately, the cardinals are at a point where they have to take some risks if they want a chance to win the division and run deep in the postseason. their current risk adverse strategy isnt cutting it.

yea but were an impact bat, 2 to 3 reliable relievers, and maybe a starter or bench piece away from really contending.

I lived in stl for sometime the only plus to it is that it is a huge baseball town. they really embrace the players there and the stadium is beautiful. the franchise never signs big money free agents but goes after the potential players or the "B" type free agents. I wouldn't call it a small market even though it is with the way the city goes all in for them I'd consider it a mid market team. with the starting pitching they have they will be in contention they will always be around. they won a ws with an 83 win team once for god sakes. Do i see them going after either machado or harper? highly unlikely
