*Win their first playoff game over a 10-6 Vikings team that finished the season looking sort of average
*Get beaten solidly by the Panthers in a 30-10 type of game

Will it mean that Chip Kelly is doing a good job as their coach?

When your front office doesn't know how to draft, and your coaches have no clue how to develop players, it doesn't matter if you have the 1st overall pick or the 32nd overall pick. That draft pick is going to suck.

Give him more time, teams already been deconstructed anyway.
