My friend bought a ticket from Japan to New York City 2 days before he decided to leave Japan to come visit NYC. It was only $1000 for him.

air fare depends on the location you are leaving from and your destination, really...like there's only two air planes leaving from JFK to Incheon on the day I booked my ticket..so ya you can imagine the price..

not to mention the plane i wanted to reserve..only had like 10ish seats left lol
