Florida Panthers to win series vs Caps
St Louis Blues +2.5 games in series vs Wild
There are probably 6 teams that can win the Eastern Conference and the Caps are not one of them. Hard to trust Florida defensively past the first round but their offense is firing on all cylinders. The pace tends to slow down in the NHL playoffs so not expecting 6-4 games with Florida like we saw in the regular season, but they will get the job done against a depleted Caps team with Ovechkin not being 100%.
St Louis and Minnesota are two evenly matched, solid teams and its a shame that one of them will exit in the first round. St Louis special teams is otherworldly right now and even if they don't win this series outright (+130) I expect this series to go the distance. Taking them at +2.5 would only lose to a sweep or a 4-1.
This parlay is -154 at my book with an implied odds of 60%, but this should be priced closer to 80%.
I have zero bankroll management skills so we put the entire balance on it.
