True. Powerscaling went to shit a long time ago. It is mundane to make sense of anything anymore.

The Roshi example was cool with all of Gokus previous masters. But its just crazy how SS2 Goku was punching the shit out of Jiren in the Anime but Jiren had to block Roshis punch in the manga. Just wow.

Is this part true? That’s a huge issue for me if so. I’ve enjoyed the manga much more than the anime but haven’t read the last issue yet. Jiren blocked gokus punches in pseudo UI because his base power is non negligent - roshi’s base power should be grossly negligent.

He didn't HAVE to block Roshi's hit, he just did and didn't look phased whatsoever. Roshi just basically showed goku that there is more than raw power to fighting. He still got his ass beat by Jiren.

that is grasping at straws made out of shit. roshi is not in a position to teach goku anything at this point

most likely a goal was put in front of animator to end manga quick, thats why the half ass crap

He didn't block any of Gokus SSJ2 punches and he wasn't phased. Whats your point? And he didn't get his ass beat. It was one knock to his back and he knocked him out. Manga was doing great up to the Gohan Vs. Kefla and Roshi moment.

I get it that Toyotarou is trying to do things different but man this is just bullshit.

Goku transformed to ssj2, showcasing his power. Jiren then allows Goku to hit him, showcasing that he isn’t phased by this transformation.

Roshi moves very quick, showcasing his speed via his natural fighting instincts. Jiren then blocks one of Roshi’s strikes, showcasing that he isn’t phased by his speed.

I think you’re over analyzing things

It was fine just highlighting that there are different aspects to a battle - which is pretty much what the whole tournament was about really. Its not about power levels anymore. What do you think the universe of loves power levels were - power level of that love cannon? Power level of the huge fused robot?

It’s just moved a bit from what we traditionally knew. Have to be less analytical to properly enjoy this show and just takes things for what they are worth haha. Power scaling was destroyed during that z fighters vs frieza goon episode imo
