You guys are forgetting that Goku can simply just be more talented than Vegeta. More experience doesn't always mean more skill.

I'm not forgetting anything lol. It's DB and the point is that nothing about their power levels ever makes sense. Hell, even the creators know it's a joke, which is why they made the power level thing an actual joke after awhile. Goku always gets just strong enough without having any clue how powerful his opponent is going to be. Vegeta has a strength of 18,000 on Earth, right? Or something around there. Goku barely survives the fight and then trains the entire time for Namek knowing guys will be even stronger than Vegeta. After only that initial gravity training, and then having his ass beat after a body switch, he becomes strong enough to beat Frieza. Okay, let's break this down real quick. For reference, the biggest jump in Goku's power level prior to this, was him increasing his power 20x during his time on Kai's planet after he died fighting Radditz. He came back to fight Vegeta 20x stronger than he was. Goku trained in intense gravity on Kai's planet from May 29th - September 3rd, and he got 20x stronger. With over 3 months in increased gravity and direction from one of the greatest martial arts teachers in the known universe, Goku raised his power 20x, not too shabby. After the Vegeta fight, Goku does intense training on his flight to Namek (6 days) and his power level increases by 375x, then after getting his ass beat once, he increases it by 50x. We can estimate that it took Goku 1 hour in the pod(took Vegeta 30 minutes to heal which was based off height/weight, Goku is a lot bigger, so I doubled it), and Goku's fights with the Ginyu force took place as soon as he landed, so we can assume those fights, the healing, and the fight with frieza all happened in one day, meaning Goku increased his power by a total of 7000x in 6 fucking days. There's no consistency to it, there never has been, and there never will be. It doesn't mean the show sucks or it's ruined or anything like that, but people need to accept and move past shit like this being nonsense, because it is lol.

I wasn't 100% sure how absurd it all was, but looking up the power levels and time periods and all that BS was kinda fun. Gotta do a ton of random DBZ comic reading in the process too which was great lol.

Goku wasn't strong enough to beat freeza, until he died and was wished back, which made him stronger. Learn the cartoon.

Wiki, which pulls them from the manga, which pulls the ones they don't know based off relevant information.

He's at 8k (you can go 9001 if you wanna go with the meme vs reality) when fighting vegeta, Freiza's second form is at 1 million.... his last form is how much stronger at 100%? My math, even if not exact, isn't far off.
