It would function the same as the Preview Post button in threads, the Preview Message button in their private messages, or the Preview Multi Report button for the Multi Report tool.
It wouldn't be difficult to implement.
It would allow people to click preview to make sure that their bbcode formatting works properly before posting notes in their guild topics.

I can't really see any cons by adding a preview button.

Is it necessary? No.
Could it be useful? Yes.
