All these was taken with my Tamron 70-300mm AF objective. (Dno how good it is, but might be a chinese budget lense.. :) But I like it a bit)

Pretty nice variety of photos you're taking. Nice not to see just heaps of shots of the same things.

Got some pictures which have to be edited later today, so might try a lower resolution. :)
Sitting on a very slow PC at the moment, and I see the problem about the size.. ;-)

Thanks.

Wondering if a new objective could do me any good? I'm stock with the std. 18-55 non SF canon objective.. I'm looking on the 50mm / 1.8f Canon Objective because of the very low price.
Already got a Tamron 70-300 AF.. :)

I like the 24-105mm full frame range (16-70mm approximately on APS-C). My ideal lens would be 24-105 f2.8... but 24-70 f2.8 is just fine. I just can't afford one. You really can't get the same thing on APS-C in terms of range and DoF.

For prime lenses, I do like 50mm and 85mm on full frame. On APS-C, 50mm is really great for portraiture. It's also excellent for stitching panorama landscapes. I always enjoyed my 70-300mm Nikon VR-II lens in the 70-140mm range, really useful for landscapes and portraits... your Tamron should be really good for those things. Landscapes aren't about going wide... wide just makes things that are closer look closer, and things that are further look closer... wide is convenient if you can't fit all that close stuff in the frame otherwise. Something to think about.

Anyways, lenses I would look at:

50mm 1.8 prime lens
30 or 35mm 1.8 prime lens <-- Normal range. Ideally 30mm is just more usable (wider), but the 30mm lenses I know of are APS-C only.
Sigma 24mm 1.4 prime lens <-- 38.4mm equivalent approximately. That fast aperture gets you a decently shallow DoF, and this focal length is great for starscapes at night.

Whow, thank you sir!
This is really nice information.

My plan is to buy the 50mm / 1.8f the next month, and use this as my primary lens.
I also wants to get a "party" lens, a 35mm and a better flash than my current.

But again I don't know what kind of pictures I like, so I'll start to buy/borrow some of the "cheaper" lenses, and try for myself what my liking is. The last pictures I've taken, the doors and the crane is something I like a lot, and they were taken with my Tamron. The Tamron I use only with 70mm zoom, since it gives me more to play with.
I'm still using the TV function on my camera, because I sometimes uses my stock 18-55mm lens, so it makes it easier to take a picture, because you don't have to change a lot on the camera. But my plan is to use the AV function when I get the 50mm / 1.8f, and hopefully I can learn to use the M function.

I really like this hobby, and hopefully I will have a few pictures which will be copied and hanged on my walls, and perhaps sold.. ;-)

Wont post any pictures today, but I'll try my best to get some time the next week!

I just bought my lens today!
The 50mm / 1.8f, and I actually like it way more than my stock 18-55mm.

The last one is my girlfriend riding a horse thing... :)
