Very nice :) i hope to learn my new camera so i can take some better pictures too! I think a tripod is in the future for me before that happens though.

I like it. Would be really cool if it could've been stitched as a panorama for about 40-50% more width.

I don't really get a feeling of depth in the shot, nor is there any kind of subject to offset the stars. The trees, the colors in the sky, the mountain, the water, they all demand similar amount of attention. I think the picture is really cool, and I like it lots, but I think what would really make the photo is getting a subject to offset the stars a little bit in some way. Making it panorama might help it get there. Usually in star shots I see some kind of angular direction, whether it be the stars creating an angle or line, or something else offsetting the stars... usually something creates a line in the picture.

Google image search "stars at night", and you might see what I mean. Most of the photos that include a landscape have a really definite something to contrast with the stars.

Agree with this.

I like it a lot but is a little lacking of... something. I think panoramic will do it.

I like it as it is. Cutting or adding is all subjective. Only accept this opinion if your own opinion coincides. Remember this is a subjective subject. What you've created is beautiful.
