Aint too sure about this but, could the Oilers want to go for Gibson possibly?

I don't think the Oilers are going to do anything about Campbell this year, his cap hit + level of play make him next to impossible to move.

I've heard/seen some of the fandom discussing if we should buy out his contract as soon as the season is up. Would be 1.5 mil/8 years if he was bought out this year, goes up like 2.3 mil or so next year.

Mike Smith is technically still with us on LTIR, if he gets healthy sometime soon I wouldn't mind seeing him backup Skinner. Probably being far too optimistic though.

I think if they could manage to get Gibson, itd be ideal. He's used to carrying a bad defense, and their offense can compensate for it.
